Dana was born in the United States and received her BA in English and MA with an emphasis on missions in her country. She has been a missionary with the South America Mission since 1998 serving in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and national director since 2019. Her primary ministry is mobilizing local churches for world missions and training missionary candidates.

She is the National Director of the PROCLAMA ministry whose mission is to be a catalyst that informs, equips and advises the Bolivian and Latino Church to assume its responsibility to evangelize unreached peoples. Also, she was the National Coordinator of COMIBAM Bolivia from 2014-2018, and is an Instructor for ENVOY International and Perspectives.
